Non-Skiing Activities in Aspen Snowmass
Need a break from the slopes or leaving the skiing to the family? No problem. You can still enjoy the mountains with non-skiing activities like snowcat tours, tubing on Buttermilk’s dedicated hill, or soaring above the peaks with paragliding. For a unique experience, try snowshoeing through pristine trails or take a scenic gondola ride for breathtaking views.
To explore the area, join a guided snowshoeing hike or a cultural tour to learn about Aspen’s rich mining history and local wildlife, including elk and bald eagles.

Got questions? We have answers

It depends on your priorities. Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is incredibly convenient – it’s only a 10-minute drive to town. However, flights can be more expensive, and it’s more susceptible to weather-related cancellations. Eagle County (EGE) is the next best thing, about 90 minutes away and a very popular, reliable choice. Denver (DEN) offers the most flight options and is often the cheapest, but you have a 3.5 to 4-hour drive ahead of you, which our Aspen shuttle service makes easy.

Honestly, probably not. Once you’re in town, the RFTA (Roaring Fork Transportation Authority) runs an excellent and free Aspen bus service that connects Aspen, Snowmass, Highlands, and Buttermilk. The core of downtown Aspen is also very walkable. The main reason for a car is the trip to and from the airport, which is exactly the problem our Aspen transfers solve. Save the money and hassle of a week-long rental.

It’s simple. You book online in advance. For our shared Aspen shuttle, we group you with passengers on similar flight schedules heading to the same area. For a private car, your driver is waiting for you exclusively. In both cases, we track your flight and will be there when you land. Our driver meets you at a designated spot in the arrivals area, helps with your bags, and gets you on the road.

Absolutely. This is non-negotiable for us. Our entire fleet consists of vehicles with all-wheel drive, proper snow tires, and are meticulously maintained. More importantly, our professional drivers are locals with extensive experience driving in heavy snow and icy conditions. Safety is our number one priority.

Yes. We know you’re not traveling light. All our vehicles have either ski racks or enough cargo space to safely and securely transport your skis, snowboards, and luggage. Just let us know what you’re bringing when you book.

Convenience, speed, and comfort. A public Aspen bus from Denver will make multiple stops, operate on a fixed schedule, and can add hours to your journey. Our private transport service runs on your schedule. We take you directly to the front door of your lodging. It’s the most efficient and hassle-free experience to start and end your ski vacation on the right note.
